nee Tokarek

Hilda (Olga) Rauser (nee Tokarek) was born on April 6, 1922 near Cudworth, Saskatchewan and passed away on May12, 2018 at Two Hills, Alberta.

Hilda is survived by: six children, Pat Parnell from Saskatoon, Linda MacKinnon from Parksville, Evelyn (Arnie) Vermette from Edmonton, Karen (Garry) Davidson from Calgary, Leonard (Dorothy) Rauser from Andrew and Dayna Rauser (Matt Gadke) from Australia; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. From a family of 13 children, Hilda has one remaining brother, George Tokarek of Edmonton.

Hilda spent most of her adult years as a homemaker, first in Lloydminster, then on the farm in Dewberry, Alberta. She was a kind, hardworking, creative person who enjoyed gardening, music and painting; in her senior years she loved travel, bingo, and especially playing with her grandchildren. Hilda will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Two Hills Fellowship Chapel (4614-50 Ave.) with Pastor Warren Charleton officiating. Interment and lunch to follow.
