I am very sorry for your loss. While living in Mundare Beatrice became a dear friend of my mother's I(Arda Wiebe) along with my own family. Beatrice loved hearing how my two kids (Mathew and Melissa) were doing in school. She was always making my husband her famous Flapper Pie. The kettle was always on at Beatrice's house and she always had time for an unexpected visit. Beatrice had great words for me when my mom passed away. I reread her cards often. She will never be forgotten in our family.

So sorry to hear that my friend Beatrice is no longer with us. I taught with Beatrice for 13 years st St. Matthew. When I asked if she would keep an eye on my dad, she kindly did, taking him to Vegreville for his weekly appointments and visiting him. I shall remember her as a kind and gentle person with whom we shared laughs and the love of playing bridge.
