Obituary of Peter Andrew Basisty

BASISTY, Peter Andrew

July 13, 1931 – December 13, 2018

On Thursday, December 13, 2018, Peter Basisty of the Westlock Smithfield Lodge, formerly of Andrew, Alberta passed away at the age of 87 years.

Peter is survived by his loving family, two sons David (Erin) and Dan (Lisa); grandchildren McKenna, Brooklyn, Blakely and Zachary Basisty; Ashley and Breanna Christensen; one sister Jessie Saruk; along with numerous relatives and friends.  Peter was predeceased by his wife Alexandra; parents Andrew and Tillie Basisty; son Trevor Christensen; daughter Traci Weiss; along with numerous siblings.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Uwin United Church with Pastor Marjorie Steele officiating.  Interment to follow in the Uwin United Cemetery (Rge Rd 172 & Twp Rd 552).   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the “Uwin United Church Cemetery” or “Westlock Smithfield Lodge-Activities Department.”
