John and Patty, my heart aches for you all. I first met Jj at the awards ceremony in Las Vegas, he was dressed so sharply and looked so young and handsome I wondered who he was . I was in Vegas to support my Son Brian who was a racer and to accompany Gus Decker who introduced me to Jj . Jj even asked me to dance! His beautiful smile and laughter was infectious. Who would have known then that my life would change and I would actually end up going all over the country with Gus to be a part of Jj’s racing . Motocross brings so many young and old families and friends together, in friendships that will last a life time. I know while on the road , Gus felt the privilege of being such a significant part of Jj’s life and was grateful to have you all as his motorcycle family. This is so sudden and I can only offer my deepest condolences and prayers at this time. I hope to be able to celebrate Jj’s life with you in the future. I wish we understood more what Gods plan is for us all and I hope your faith will give you peace knowing that you will all be united once again in heaven , probably in heaven where the “Race Tracks” and RVs are parked ! We so loved JJ! We spend some really good times with your family when the kids were younger and many a time JJ was the life of our home - always making Randy, Riley, Richele and myself laugh!
