OCTOBER 20, 1937 – October 2, 2020
On Friday, October 2, 2020, Barbara (Verna) Novack of Edmonton, Alberta, peacefully passed away at the age of 82 years.
Verna is survived by her loving family, two daughters Andrea (John) Zacharuk and Yvonne (Michael) Nielsen; one son Jeff (Daphne) Novack; one grandson Evan (Jessica) Zacharuk; two great-granddaughters Hailey and Lily; sister Faye (Ed) LaBuick; sisters-in-law Doris Fedun and Lil Mazurenko; along with numerous relatives and friends.
Verna was predeceased by her husband Andrew Novack; parents William and Olga Fedun; father-in-law and mother-in- law Philip and Eva Novack; sister Vera (Henry) Siracky; brother Victor Fedun; niece Michelle Fedun; brother-in-law Larry Mazurenko.
A Private Funeral Service was held at St. James Russo Orthodox Church – Mundare with Father Oleksii Suraiev officiating. Interment followed in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the “St. James Russo Orthodox Church – Mundare.”
