We have many wonderful memories of Anne Gargus.
Her welcoming smile was part of our Christmas/Easter for many years. Tall and elegant, Anne was always beautiful. Her hair was freshly styled and her nails done and she dressed so fine. This was well into her nineties. I'm told she wore a bra every day even at age 99.!! She usually had some craft or art piece to show. Always busy. Her egg writing was exceptional and should be in a museum. I so enjoyed talking to her. She gifted me with a special walking cane (that I use every day) and a walker that we'll use more and more. She surprised us when at her advanced age,she got a new boyfriend (later her husband). What a VIBRANT exceptional feisty lady! When she no longer could come to Christmas gatherings we really missed her. It wasn't the same. Anne you were a powerhouse!
I will enjoy remembering you! Love from Margaret Roshko and family.

My deepest sympathies to your family. Many years ago, my mom (Olga Stewart),sister and I had the pleasure curling with Anne, in Andrew. We enjoyed many wins, and Anne was always enthusiastic to get out on the ice, and her energy was infectious. Mom loved curling with her, and she helped keep our team in check when we got down, and helped manage the team. Rest in peace Anne.
