Stella, my beautiful cousin. Today would have been your 56th birthday and we would always look forward to seeing you at your favorite restaurant - Coliseum Steak and Pizza - for your birthday celebration . I am so sorry I did not have the chance to hug you one last time . My heart still aches for you and I miss you so much. Today I will celebrate the life you led and be a positive light in this world as you were to so many. You light up my life, you give me hope to carry on . you light up my way and fill my nights with love.... I remember singing that with you growing up . Stella, I miss you so much. I am so sorry I never stopped by to hug you or touch your beautiful face one more time but I was scared to expose you to any possible illness given your vulnerability. Easter reminds me of the times we spent together growing up , always having family dinners and celebrating the love of our family. I remember going with you to Easter Services at the farm, cracking Easter eggs together - laughing so hard and loving life. I have so many regrets not having seen you this past year .I would give anything to bring you back for a hug , a kiss , anything I could have from you. I will remember you forever my beautiful cousin. I will continue to spread the kindness and love you used to spread while we were blessed to have you on this earth. Stella, I cannot believe it has been 1 month since you left us. It has been the worst month of my life. I cannot stop crying when I think about what you went through. I am so grateful to have had you as my cousin and soul sister. I feel like I was robbed of the time I could have spent with you due to COVID-19 . I tried to stay away as much as possible to protect you but now I just want that time back with you and you are gone.I have been reminiscing about our life a lot lately . I had the opportunity to meet Stella 35 years ago. We met each other at the same time as we met our future in-laws, Christmas Eve 1985. During the years, I had the chance to know Stella very well. She was always very kind, eager to please and help other people. Stella was also a very good listener. She made everything we celebrate together, truly special. What I am going to miss the most about her, is her friendship and her beautiful smile. Stella was really a wonderful person.

Stella , my beautiful cousin. I know you suffered in silence and were such a brave soul during the time you graced us with your presence on this earth . I have decided I am going to honor you by donating blood and platelets as I know you had to to go for many transfusions over the years and I am so thankful for the donor's who assisted you in order to make your quality of life better . I am heart broken to hear of Stella's passing. Stella was a special friend to me who's caring and kindness helped me find my way at work. She was an example of positivity, always taking time to help everyone and also showing interest in everyone she passed, even though she was the one struggling with her health. Stella was such an amazing person, she was funny, caring and very kind to the soul. I worked with Stella for 4 years and sat behind her in the office. We would share jokes and laughs. Her heart of gold, will forever be remembered. Never forgotten. I remember Stella would tell me if she sneezed less then 3 times she getting sick. So she would sneeze twice and i would say oh no Stella you ok? She would tell me that there another sneeze coming.
She would laugh at my jokes and say oh Sandy that's just to good.
