Doug, Roberta and Barry So very sorry to hear about our beloved Doris. It's been a month and I just heard. I will always remain grateful for having such wonderful neighbours growing up on the farm. Among my many treasured memories was the annual Halloween visit with Doris and Ed. They were always delighted to see all of us and even though we were exhausted from traipsing around Radway, we always insisted that mom and/or dad took us to your farm before heading home for the night. Not only were they generous, they always had the biggest smiles on their faces when we arrived and it always made us feel so special. The last time I saw Doris was at the lodge in Redwater. We teamed up for crib and the two of us made great partners. We had so many laughs that day and I will keep that memory close to my heart forever. My deepest sympathy to the family. I remember Doris with her friendly smile and welcoming attitude when I taught in Radway many years ago. She was always up for a chat and share a joke when we met . A lovely lady who welcomed everyone to her home serving delicious food that was enjoyed by all. I remember her home and enjoying many a meal there. She will be missed. Frances Tkachyk
