TICHON, George
April 17, 1924 – December 25, 2021
It is with great sadness that the family of George Tichon of Andrew, Alberta announces his passing on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at the age of 97 years.
George will be lovingly remembered by his sons John and Rodney; daughter-in-law Karen Tichon; son-in-law Roger Hall; grandchildren Chris, Jason (Nancy), Lee, Jennifer and Jeanine; sisters Eleanor (Fred) Bryant and Margaret Hennig; extended family as well as numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. George was predeceased by his cherished wife Kay; children Robert, Shirley Hall and Bill; his parents John and Mary; three sisters Dorothy, Laura (Summers) Hritzuk and Kay.
A private Funeral Service will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Russo-Orthodox Church – Sachava with Rev. Kolin Berglund officiating followed by the interment in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to “St. Michael the Archangel Russo-Orthodox Church – Sachava.”
