Sending big hugs, I am sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of spending the last year working at Lamont hospital getting to know Alec. I always appreciated his kindness and sense of humour. He was my turkey from Willingdon, with his red sparkly hat, twinkle in his eye and his mischievous smile. He will be forever missed by many he brought so much joy to us all.
I picture him playing cards and eating all the pickled herring he can eat up in heaven.
I hope all your loving memories of him bring you comfort in your loss.

Our deepest condolences to the entire family.
A very special memory that I have, is when Auntie Katie and Uncle Alec came for a surprise visit all the way to Fort McMurray just to see Tom and me. They were actually waiting in their vehicle, when we got off the company bus from site. They were the first family members to make the trek all that way, (not knowing if we would even be home)!!
We had just moved into to our first home and they helped us decide where to plant our tree in the front yard. Then they insisted that they take us out for supper that evening, but first Auntie Katie wanted to stop at the greenhouse to pick up a plant for our new home. (It was a Kalanchoe). It meant the world to me that my favorite Aunt and Uncle came to visit us that year.
Uncle Alec told great jokes and knee slappers, and had the most positive outlook on life. He was always so generous and kind to everyone he met.
These are a few of the numerous memories I have of my favorite Uncle. He will be in my heart and deeply missed forever.

To the entire family of Alec,
My sincerest condolences to all of you on the passing of such a great and sweet man. Thank you for allowing me to converse and get to know your dad/grandfather/great grandfather while he was at the LHCC. Alec had a wonderful sense of humor with that little mischievous sparkle in his eye. He loved to tease me and made every day wonderful. A kind, caring, and jovial man that will truly be missed.
