JOHN STEPHEN SIDOR
March 20, 1956 – April 19, 2022
We are saddened to announce the unexpected and sudden passing of John Stephen Sidor of Vegreville, on April 19, 2022.
John is survived by his loving children: Micheal and his children – Brody, Cash, and Jesse; Melissa (Mike) Paulson and their children – Maddison, Olivia and Garnett; and Jessica (Cole) Weber and her children – Jarrett and Casey; his loving sister Betty (Bernie) Kolewaski and their children Darryl (Carolyn) and Darcy, and four great nephews – Austin, Stryker, Jaxson and Edison.
He was predeceased by his parents George and Lillian Sidor; paternal grandparents, John and Sophie (Bockanesky) Sidor; maternal grandparents George Tupechka and Maria (Popeniuk, Labatiuk) Tupechka; and the mother of his children Carmyn (Sharman) Grant.
John is also survived by aunts, numerous cousins, former oil patch co-workers, many friends, the Harley Davidson “brotherhood”, and his sister Irene Gaudet (Bob Hooey) and her children Amanda and Alexander.
The family would like to thank Vegreville Home Care, especially Brandy, for her assistance with John’s care; special friends, Melissa and Jamie, who meant the world to him; and Landon, who John spoke of very highly.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 14, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Luzan Community Hall.
