Obituary of Lawrence Gara

GARA, Lawrence Stanley November 15, 1947 – September 9, 2022 The family of Lawrence Gara are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of a dear husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather on Friday, September 9, 2022 at the age of 74 years. He will be lovingly remembered but never forgotten by his loving wife of 52 years Judy; 3 sons Brad (Lynette) and grandchildren Chance; Chad (Priscilla) and great grandson Ezra; Chailyn; step grandchildren Billy (Danielle), Danny (Jessica), Cassidy (Justin), Brittany (Levi) and Emily: Darrell (Melissa) and granddaughters Brooke and Emma; step granddaughter Trinity: Lorne (Lisa) and grandchildren Layla and Lexie; sister Elsie (Marshall) Juba and their children John, Terrance and Colleen; brother Oliver and his children Sherisse (Daniel) Kazlauskas, David (Amanda) and their children Lauren and Luke. Lawrence was predeceased by his parents Peter and Jessie Gara; parents in law Andy and Rose Fediuk; sister in law Shirley Gara; grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A Celebration of Lawrence’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Autumn Rose Funeral Home in Vegreville, Alberta with Lorraine (Lori) Lucki as the celebrant with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the “Alberta Lung Association” or “Crohn’s and Colitis Canada” or charity of one’s choice.
