May 16, 1940 – October 29, 2022
On Saturday, October 29, 2022, Nick Melnyk of Tomahawk, Alberta passed away at the age of 82 years.
Nick is survived by his loving family, his wife of 37 years, Wiesia; one daughter Nicole and one son Matthew (fiancé Diane Kruizenga); four sisters Doris Fedun, Alice Chatterton, Olga (Manley) Wilmot and Nancy (Fred) Kohl; sisters in law Laurie Melnyk and Rose Melnyk; mother in law Helen; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Wasyl and Stella Melnyk; siblings Ruby, Dorothy, Ted, Tom, Fred, Alex, Mike, Henry and Annie.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Memories Funeral Home (13403 St. Albert Trail NW.,Edmonton, AB) with Father Alexios Surayaev officiating. Interment to follow in the Northern Lights Cemetery – Edmonton. Memorial donations may be made to ‘S.T.A.R.S.”
