It is with profound sorrow that I have learned of the passing of Allen. The obituary which I have just read is gratifying to a teacher who saw so much promise in the young Allen;. A fiery debater and exemplary student of high moral fibre, he achieved more in a lifetime that can be expected of any person. May his soul rest in peace.

I enjoyed listening to Allen's thoughts on things as he always made me smile with his wit and humor. He was the most genuine of a person, and you could see his appreciation of the world when he looked at something new or different. Allen spoke of how proud he was of his family and how he loved them all. I will miss seeing Allen around the community and chatting with him as he always made me smile with his kind words, soul and demeanor. Rest in Peace Allan.
