From my very first introduction to Jean I knew that she would be an important part of my life. After all I married her little brother. Our relationship was so much more than that of sisters-in-law, we were friends. She was Lawren’s Godmother and loved it when work took him to Veg. They would have lunch and a visit.
Randy, Doug and Grant you were so lucky to have such a loving and devoted Mother, and what lucky Grandchildren to have a Baba that had such an interest in all the things you did.
I will miss her laugh, her sense of humour, but most of all I will miss her friendship.
With our deepest sympathy, Larry and Anne

Jean and I have been friends since our school days at Greenbush School. I have many memories of us performing at the concerts in school wearing our white crepe paper skirts. After leaving school we were always in touch going to Beauvallon dances and enjoying ourselves. I was honored to be her first bridesmaid and then be godmother to her first born son - Randy. Throughout our lives were always in touch by personal visits and/or phone calls. We shared many good times and memories. I was trying to call her and wish her a Happy Birthday on Feb 3rd but much to my disappointment I was unable to reach her and a few days later was advised of her poor health. I am very sad that she has left us and we did not have an opportunity for a visit. I will miss her dearly. May she rest in peace besides her loving husband Tony.
Eternal Memory.
From your dear friend Steffie Chmilar.
